Besides private health insurances and certain subsidies, many public health insurances support osteopathic treatments. The prerequisite for the subsidization of osteopathic treatment by public health insurances is that your therapist must be a member of an association.
Our osteopaths all meet these requirements.
In addition, most health insurance companies require a medical referral.
The amount of the subsidy varies depending on your health insurance. Please check with your health insurance company prior to treatment.
Alternatively, you can find a list of all health insurance companies and their subsidy models for osteopathic treatments here (in german). - Are the therapists in an osteopathic association?
Yes, all our osteopaths are members of the Verband freier Osteopathen (VfO) or the Verband der Osteopathen Deutschland e.V. (VOD).

Your doctor’s prescription and previous medical reports (if available).
For treatment of infants and children: U-Heft, maternity passport, diapers, possibly toy/ cuddly toy / favorite books.
If you’re pregnant, please bring the maternity passport! - What clothes should I wear?
It is important to us that you feel comfortable. Very loose-fitting clothing, or well-fitting sportswear makes it easier for the therapists to work with your body. Please also wear underwear that you feel comfortable in. - What is osteopathy?
The Verband der Osteopathen Deutschland e.V. (Association of Osteopaths in Germany) has written a detailed answer here.
As soon as we are allowed to do so, we’ll offer you a translated version right here.
You are welcome to ask us further questions by phone or e-mail if you are still not sure whether osteopathic treatment is right for you. - How much does a session cost? How long is a session?
